ROOT CANAL TREATMENT

No, usually it will take 2-3 visits before a root canal treatment can be done. The first visit is when the nerve is removed and often is the one that takes away the pain. The second visit is for shaping the nerve canals of the tooth and further disinfection. The final visit is for filling the nerve canal and restoring the tooth. After a root canal treatment is complete, it is strongly recommended to place a crown/covering over it to strength the root. 

Root canal treatment can be expensive, however also avoid. If you get your teeth regularly checked, often root canal treatment can be avoided. Root canal treatment is done over three to four visits and the cost of the treatment is split to 3-4 payments thus making it more affordable.
